A lover of photography since she was a teenager, Juliana has worked to turn her passion into a business over the last decade.  Specializing in photographing natural light portraits of women, she works with her clients to understand and achieve the goals for their session, and guide them in a way that puts them at ease in front of the camera to showcases their natural beauty.

"Women, and especially mothers, are often the archivists in their families' lives. We document other people - our children for example - but find a million excuses not to get in front of the camera and document ourselves. I want to help change that. I think you are beautiful. I think you are enough, right now. I want you to exist in photographs for yourself and for the people you love."

Juliana is a mother to two very busy boys, 7 and 10 years old. When she's not chasing after them, she loves to read, run, dance, and create. She is originally from PEI.

Veteran makeup artist Melanie brings over two decades of experience. Ranging from representing brands such as MAC & Stila cosmetics, over 1000 weddings clients under her brush, to being a artist for popular Canadian TV series and celebrities, Mel’s attention to detail and advance experience makes her a highly sought after professional in the industry. What is her favourite part about beautifying Bella clients? "I like to make them feel beautiful, because when they feel beautiful they carry themselves differently for photos and in their daily life! By making them feel that beauty, something shifts inside of them, and they now will carry that out into the world!!"

Mel is an animal welfare activist! Her top priority is finding new cruelty free cosmetics to use on her clients. Along with her husband and teen daughter, her family shares their home with a number of dogs and small pets. It’s typical to see this active family walking the beach or trails on a beautiful day, with a pack of dogs in tow. From a small town in Ontario, Nicole has built the foundation for being an expert in beauty. Previously working for brands like Lancome, MAC and Merle Norman. Nicole is currently a Elate Cosmetics artist and brand ambassador. From a retro inspired styling to a creative editorial look, she she excels in creation with a artistic approach, she believes the face is the perfect canvas. What is important to Nicole for every Bella client who sits in her chair? “To help them to reconnect to a sensual person that they may have lost sight of, finding a sexy alter ego to channel or celebrate in reaching goals and milestone the client has overcome in their life.”

Having grown up in Victoria, Alexandra has always had an eye and passion for all things beauty. Alexandra has had quick success in her new career. From climbing the ranks to Lead Artist for Elate Cosmetics to running the makeup department for Victoria’s First Fashion Week there is no slowing her down. Erin is artistic and approachable and with over 17 years experience as a bridal expert and stylist for the fashion and commercial industries, Erin’s makeup, hair, and styling work has been featured on TV and in print media and has been seen on countless runways and photo shoots.

Erin’s favourite thing about her work is getting to know her clients. Whether it is understanding how they envision their makeup on their wedding day, to how clothes and style fit into their lives, Erin strives to build confidence and educate every chance she gets!
